Energy coming from experience
Team of experts
Proton Wind is made up of specialists in the renewable energy sector. We combine technical, legal and financial expertise to deliver projects that really work. We employ and cooperate with a strong team of people on a permanent basis in our office in Warsaw and throughout Poland.
Mission
We support Poland’s energy transition.
Effectiveness
We only undertake projects we strongly believe in. We minimise the risk of losing turbines in the process and we take the projects through to completion.
Transparency
We operate in a partnership mode, offering full market rental rates, and signing contracts that we are not ashamed to present to our partners.
Trust
We have been operating since the beginning of the development of the renewable energy sector in Poland and will continue to do so for much longer. We have been building our reputation on the market for over a decade now.

Founder of Proton Wind
Kamil Ziegler
A veteran of the renewable energy sector in Poland.
Co-creator of Wento’s success in Poland (on behalf of the Enterprise Investors private equity fund, he helped create Wento from scratch, formally serving initially as the company’s first CEO and later as vice-chairman of the supervisory board for 10 years until the company was sold to Equinor, a Norwegian strategic investor).
He has introduced three large investors (a European investor, an international construction group, and an oil & gas company) to the Polish renewable energy market.
He has been involved in numerous wind, photovoltaic and storage projects from the very beginning of the project (signing the lease agreement) to securing all permits and to financing, construction and operations.
Where do we operate?
We implement wind farm projects throughout the country. The location of the projects we are involved in is shown on the map opposite.
Our team members and partners are able to reach even the remotest corners of Poland. But first, we will quickly check whether wind turbines can be located in a given place.
